Standard Replacement Oil Pump Gear for Aprilia SR50R – Piaggio NRG 50cc

Bolt in part, off you go! It’s a really good ideal to replace the oil belt while you’re in behind the oil pump. It’s a pretty inexpensive part, which must be replaced periodically (usually every 8-10k). On liquid cooled models the oil belt runs the water pump as well as the oil pump – so you’re in a lot of trouble if it breaks. Get a new one in there if you have any doubt at all!

Please note this particular gear fits liquid cooled models ONLY. The gear for air cooled models has a cylindrical bush at the rear to slot onto a shaft in the engine – where this liquid cooled gear has a drive at the rear to slot onto the water pump impeller shaft.
