The factory key for the Aprilia SR50 has long been a point of common annoyance due to its common breakage of the rubber band which affixes it to a keyring. Over time the rubber softens, deteriorates and eventually breaks – and in many cases causes the loss of the entire key.

Aprilia use a special key, a special key blank is required. Fortunately the blank is relatively cheap, and just needs to be cut to match your original key, which can be done by any good locksmith.
