We always recommend doing a charge rate test on your bike at the time of replacement to make sure:
- Your electrical system is charging (should be charging between 13.8V – 14.4V when held at high rpm)
- Your electrical system isn’t over-charging (usually regulator failure, if the charge rate is above 14.4v)
